Hey — how’s it been going?

Things have been pretty quiet here lately. I’ve been doing some gaming, but not a huge amount, and mostly my head’s been elsewhere — thinking about the music. I haven’t been playing Warcraft.

I’m not happy with where about a third of my lyrics are sitting. There’s an undertone to some of them that isn’t working for me — a kind of playfulness that tips too far into cartoon territory. Because of that, several songs are getting makeovers.

That obviously pushes the timeline back a bit. At this point, I’m thinking the music is still around six months away, and I’ll be working on it alongside my studies. To make room for something like that, I’m planning to play virtually no games going forward and focus instead on music, study, and a few new activities I want to bring into my life — like getting back to the gym.

In other news, I’ve also been jotting down notes for a game I want to make — very early ideas, but something I’m enjoying thinking about. With the rising power of AI, and my past experience with IT and modding games, I consider this a very real possibility in the coming years.
