Early Rise

The last couple of days have been strangely productive in a quiet way. I’ve been making steady internal progress without forcing anything, just moving through things naturally. Yesterday I set up my Ghost site, something I’ve been meaning to do for a while, and it felt good to finally give myself a place to put my thoughts in a more structured way. Splitting things into Journal, Essays, and Music already feels clearer than how I used to work.

I also wrote my first essay, which surprised me a bit. I didn’t expect to find the words as easily as I did, but once I started, it came together cleanly. There’s something about putting things into proper sentences that makes my own thoughts feel more real. I’m glad I did it.

Outside of that, I’ve mostly just been living. Had one of those early mornings where I woke up at 6am feeling good, made a strong coffee with oat milk, and just started the day with a sense of direction. I played some WoW, reinstalled Kontakt because it was playing up, and decided to write this and do a wee soft launch of my site.

It’s been a small stretch of progress, but real progress. I’m getting things moving again, one piece at a time.
