I'm Karl and I am a schizoaffective music producer from Dunedin, New Zealand.

My life has taken a lot of twists that I never planned for. Mental health shaped my twenties and thirties in ways I’m still trying to understand. I don’t see it as “I made the wrong choices” — more that I was thrown into places I had to survive. Along the way I’ve learned a lot about myself, about the mind, and about how strange and interesting life can become.

My music sits at the intersection of emotion, identity, and imagination. I work through two creative voices — Scratch and Stray — who represent different sides of me and help me express things I can’t always say directly. My sound is a mix of hip hop, electronic, and atmospheric influences, driven by mood as much as structure. I’m still early in my journey, studying music properly for the first time and building a portfolio as I grow. The Music section of this site is where I track that progress, share ideas, and develop the world these characters live in.
